Bourbon and White Peach Shrub Cocktail
Technically, this recipe could be considered two recipes in one. Make it as described and you have wonderfully satisfying sipping cocktail. Remove the bourbon and you have a delicious shrub. Perfect to serve guests who want a little something extra in their drink… and for those who prefer to keep it sans alcohol.
The I FRUTTATI fruit pulp vinegar product line from De Nigris is magically thick, made from the fresh pulp of ripe Italian Peaches. Believe me when I tell you that one sip will have you suspiciously wondering if you actually bit into a peach.
BOURBON AND WHITE PEACH SHRUB COCKTAIL
Makes 2 cocktails
- 2 ounces bourbon
- 1 ounce De Nigris I FRUTTATI Fruit Pulp Vinegar – White Peach
- 1 cup ginger ale
- 4 raspberries, as garnish
- Combine bourbon, white peach vinegar and ginger ale in large cup and stir.
- Fill two double-old-fashioned glasses with ice and pour mixture over ice.
- Garnish with raspberries
- Serve and enjoy!
