Bourbon and White Peach Shrub Cocktail

Drinks | October 18, 2016 | By

Technically, this recipe could be considered two recipes in one.  Make it as described and you have wonderfully satisfying sipping cocktail. Remove the bourbon and you have a delicious shrub. Perfect to serve guests who want a little something extra in their drink… and for those who prefer to keep it sans alcohol.

The I FRUTTATI fruit pulp vinegar product line from De Nigris is magically thick, made from the fresh pulp of ripe Italian Peaches. Believe me when I tell you that one sip will have you suspiciously wondering if you actually bit into a peach.

Makes 2 cocktails

  • 2 ounces bourbon
  • 1 ounce De Nigris I FRUTTATI Fruit Pulp Vinegar – White Peach
  • 1  cup ginger ale
  • 4 raspberries, as garnish

  1. Combine bourbon, white peach vinegar and ginger ale in large cup and stir.
  2. Fill two double-old-fashioned glasses with ice and pour mixture over ice.
  3. Garnish with raspberries
  4. Serve and enjoy!
