There’s just something about food served on toothpicks that make them more fun to eat. Combine that with a food wrapped in bacon and you have yourselves a real winner.
Fall is a time for dinner parties and holiday gatherings, which works out to be a lot of dining and hosting opportunities. For your next gathering, whip out a bunch of these Bacon Wrapped Fig Brussels Sprouts and watch your guests devour them with glee.
Begin by trimming and washing your fresh Brussels sprouts. If you have any sprouts that are extra-large you might also want to cut them in half.
Once your Brussels sprouts are prepared, give them a few, or several, sprays of the De Nigris Fig Condiment with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena. Make sure each Brussels sprout has been covered.
Now it’s time to add the bacon. I found that half a slice of bacon was the perfect length for the majority of my Brussels sprouts. If you want to use some larger Brussels sprouts then you might need to use an entire piece of bacon.
Once your Brussels sprouts are wrapped in bacon place them on a foil-lined baking sheet, seam side down. Then spray the top of each Brussels sprout with another burst of De Nigris Fig Condiment with Balsamic Vinegar of Modena spray to really accentuate the fig flavor.
The bacon, fig, and Brussels sprouts are a delectable combination that is sure to be a hit. Make sure to make up a bunch for your next dinner party.
