Italian Garlic and Herb Bread Dip

Posted on 07 February 2019

A good bread dip can take any meal occasion and dress it up while still keeping it cozy. There is a reason why any good Italian restaurant will serve little trays of herbs with your bread and pour the olive oil while you watch the seasonings transform before your very eyes.

So, what makes an Italian bread dip and incredible Italian bread dip? Balsamic vinegar and a finely tuned balance of seasonings bring both a beauty and a depth of flavor to any bread. While any of the De Nigris balsamic vinegars would be an excellent choice, I recommend their thick balsamic glaze reduction as it adds structure to the other ingredients and for those times when your dipped breads grabs ahold of a trickle of pure vinegar glaze… heaven.

All the dried ingredients in this Italian Garlic and Herb bread dip recipe can be pre-mixed and stored in a labeled container. Although, why not mix all the ingredients together except for the vinegar and olive oil and keep it in your fridge? If you do, you will always be ready for a any meal occasion.
