Ingredients for 4 people

  • 400 g slim heritage carrots, washed and trimmed
  • 3 tbsp runny honey (or agave syrup)
  • Sprig of fresh thyme
  • 3  tbsp De Nigris Thick & Intense Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
  • 60 ml water
  • Pinch sea salt

For the recipe

 

Add the carrots, honey (or agave syrup, to make it vegan), thyme, water and two tbsp of the De Nigris Thick & Intense Balsamic Vinegar of Modena to a large lidded pan, cover, and allow to simmer for 10 minutes.  Remove the lid, sprinkle with salt, drizzle with remaining Balsamic Vinegar, and serve. Simple. Hop to it!
