Ingredients for 8 people

  • 1 kg strawberries, hulled and halved
  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 450 g granulated sugar
  • 3 tsp De Nigris Gold Label Balsamic Vinegar of Modena
  • 1 tbsp vanilla extract

For the recipe

Combine ingredients in a large saucepan.
Bring the mixture to boil, over medium high heat, stirring frequently.
Reduce heat and simmer, occasionally stirring and skimming off the foam from the top.
After 45-60 minutes, jam should be thick and drop slowly from a spoon.
Cook longer if needed. Spoon carefully  into sterilised jars.
